FAQs

What makes Cape Cod Be Fit different?

Being an out of network provider allows us to get patients in for treatment without delay and treat them one-on-one to provide the highest quality of individualized care. This helps our patients get back to activity faster.

Do you take my insurance?

Cape Cod Be Fit does not directly bill insurance. Clients pay for treatment at the time of service and are provided a receipt you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

While we cannot guarantee reimbursement, the majority of clients with out of network benefits receive reimbursement from their insurance company.

This practice model allows for a higher quality of individualized care for faster results.

What should I expect for my first visit?

The first visit is an hour appointment with a doctor of physical therapy. We start by discussing what has caused you to seek physical therapy, how it is effecting you and your personal goals. The next step is to perform a physical assessment and then work together to formulate a treatment plan that best suits you.

Do I need a prescription or physician referral?

No prescription or referral is required.

Massachusetts law allows patients to have unrestricted direct access to physical therapy without physician referral.

What are my payment options?

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) can be used to pay for treatment in addition to cash, check or credit card.
